Information We Collect
- Account and sign-in: email and credentials are handled by our authentication provider; your app uses secure tokens (such as JWTs) with our API.
- Profile and work data you enter in the app, such as jobs, clients, schedules, invoices, payment status, notes, and photos you attach to jobs.
- Device location, including precise coordinates, while you are on duty—for example to show availability on a map and keep status accurate. We do not use location for unrelated advertising.
- Contacts only when you choose to import them to pre-fill client details.
- Diagnostics: error and stability data (for example crash reports, app version, device model, and OS version) and optional issue reports you submit, to fix bugs and improve the app.
How We Use Information
- Provide and secure the service: authentication, syncing, profiles, jobs, media uploads, and related features.
- Run on-duty location and any map or availability experiences we offer.
- Operate diagnostics and review issue reports for reliability and support.
- Contacts are used only to help you fill in client details when creating jobs; we do not upload or retain your address book on our servers.
Permissions
- Location (including background updates while on duty, where the OS allows) is used for the on-duty features described above.
- Contacts access is optional and only used when you explicitly choose to import a contact.
- Media or gallery access is used to attach images to jobs.
Data sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only to operate the app, with service providers who process it on our behalf, and when required by law.
Service providers we use include:
- Amazon Web Services — including Amazon Cognito for sign-in and tokens, and our cloud infrastructure to host the service and store your data.
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — crash and error reporting, session diagnostics, and related technical data from the app to detect and fix issues.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including encryption in transit (such as HTTPS) and secure authentication.
Account deletion
If you would like to have your account deleted, please email us using the address below. We will endeavour to remove your account and delete all associated data as soon as possible.
